KY FIRST Robotics is excited to partner with Ethicon, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson that designs and manufactures medical devices and surgical instruments. This partnership provides support to every FIRST team in Kentucky that competed in at least one event this Energized season and plans to compete again next season! This type of support helps teams progress forward, a pillar of Johnson and Johnson’s values and a key to success in FIRST programs.

Teams will receive:

               20 FLL Explore teams will receive  $50/team

               90 FLL Challenge teams will receive $100/team

               21 FTC teams will receive $350/team

               9 FRC teams will receive $1,000/team

​

The mission of KY FIRST Robotics is to establish a robust and sustainable FIRST Robotics Program for k-12 youth throughout the state of Kentucky.  At the heart of this mission is our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and the impact that early exposure to STEM learning can influence equitable outcomes for our future workforce.

teams are not limited to what's in the box to build their robots! In fact, they don't have to buy any box kit, but there are kits available if they choose to go that route.
