Toyota Startup Grants
We’re thrilled to partner with Toyota this season to help launch new FIRST teams. Toyota Startup Grants are available to rookie teams based in Fayette County, Scott County, and Eastern Kentucky, defined as communities east of I-75. Preference will be given to teams in Fayette and Scott Counties. Teams must reside in one of these areas to be eligible. Funding is limited and intended for new teams only.

FJ Foundation FRC Grants
The FJ Foundation has been a supporter of FRC teams in Kentucky since the very beginning. Joann and the late Frank Luecke value the learning that happens with FIRST and made it their mission to grow the program in the state. They offer support for all rookie teams who apply, and have limited support for returning teams with documented need.
$1000 FTC SIM Rookie Grant
$1000 USD FTC SIM Rookie Team Grant is now live!
The DECODE field will be released in FTC SIM right after the game is revealed! This year there will be preloaded teleop code so users can jump right in and start exploring the game!
TVA STEM AWARD PROGRAM
Applicants are encouraged to involve community partners in their projects and to expose students to real-world careers and in-demand skills.
Applications due BY SEPTEMBER 15, 2025

All project proposals should support one of the following TVA priority areas: Environment, Energy, Economic and Career Development, or Community Problem Solving. Awards may be requested in the amounts of $1,000, $1,500, $2,500, $3,500, or $5,000.

NASA FRC Grant - Application Closed
NASA will be offering team grants again this year! The portal will be open from September 1st-September 30th. All accounts are deleted yearly, so users must create a new account each year. The application should be completed by a mentor with input from the students. It is recommended that you use an email address that is checked regularly. Applications are available to 2026 Rookie and New Veteran Teams and teams which received a "Rookie" grant last year from NASA.
