Help Grow FIRST in Kentucky!

KY FIRST Robotics is a relatively young non-profit looking to give access to FIRST robotics programming to all students in grades k-12 in Kentucky.  We need your help! There are lots of ways to get involved - including volunteering to assist with administrative tasks, mentoring teams, helping at events, and more!

If you would like to help, but aren't sure how, please fill out this quick form and we will reach out to you and help you identify the best fit for your available time and talents.

How to Register with FIRST

1.    Create an account at firstinsires.org. Once you have created your account (or if you already have one), log into your dashboard.

2.    Click on the Volunteer Tab. Click the link "Apply for a Program" at the top, just under search for an event. We encourage you to click all 4 programs for the best FIRST experience!

3. Click the link for Youth Protection and New Mentor Training. Complete the steps for both, including submitting our information for a background check. Once done, make your way back to your dashboard.

3. On your dashboard, under the volunteer tab, there are two boxes, one for each of the main types of volunteers for FIRST programs. If one of those boxes looks like you, follow the prompts to complete your volunteer registration. If you aren't sure, or want some guidance, please email us at info@kyfirstrobotics.org with Volunteer in the subject line and a little information about yourself and we will help guide you.

4. If you volunteer for a role at an event, your training materials for that role will be available to you in your dashboard.

We look forward to working with you!!
