Whether you can spend two hours each week with one team or occasionally share your expertise with teams across Kentucky, there's a place for you in the Kentucky FIRST Robotics Mentor Network.

Find your Mentoring Style

Everyone has something different to offer. Choose the mentoring role that best fits your experience, schedule, and interests.

TEAM MENTOR

Typically starts with about 2 hours per week.

Build a relationship with one team throughout the season. Attend meetings when you can, answer questions, encourage students, and help coaches think through challenges.
We'll match you with a team in your
local area whenever possible
to minimize travel and help you build lasting connections within your community.

SPECIALTY MENTOR

Flexible Commitment

Share your expertise with teams across Kentucky when they need help in your specialty. Teams can connect with you by email or during meetings to solve specific challenges.
Teams reach out when they need your expertise.
They can connect with you as needed. You determine when and how often you are available.
